One door closes....

And another door opens....

It's been six months since I went splat in the middle of a Mick Jagger routine and broke the hell out of my foot. Six months and five pounds ago actually. Six months and a lifetime ago.

I have a new bike with a flat tire now. A new grand~baby on the way. A new pair of boots just the right size, just the right height to hide the damn brace and dance like it never happened....

"You have keys in your door" he smiled as he left.

"Of course" I whispered to the night.

Sister...I am still foggy-headed this morning, but in the black and white and full color of your words... our life seems again, very parallel in multiple senses. Six months...how many times have I said that in the past couple of weeks? Lol...lots have changed. Boots, locks, doors, lives & the people going on in 'em. ILYSVM

That must be the best idea getting over anything: dance like it never happened. Gotta love that. :)

Sweet SLB...Rollercoaster days, the track winding, broken, suspended, diving, dipping, climbing, twisting, inside out and backwards...and then finally, there in the rickity tickity sun...the ticket taker, waiting for us to choose....what ride next. I choose peace. And some really, really good music....
Meet me there, sweetie!

Justrun....Clink! Life's for livin' and Friday's are for dancin'!

Peace~love
Sometimes it's right out your back door~

I can sense something in the air- perhaps I'll ask Phil Collins about it? ;-)

Isn't it amazing what changes in 6 months, 3 months, hell even 2 days? Isn't life fun like that? :)

To think 6 months ago I didnt know... never realised... there was a soul..a friend..a sister... called Singleton in this world... and now when i open my door and enter my house i see her spectacular artwork...smiling peace-love at me...Clinking me ;)

Now thats what you call serendipity.

Of course you've got the keys in the door...

The universe would have it no other way...

Sending you peace and sunlit love
on the breath of this summer morning my friend,

M

Sean....Yup, somethin's in the air! But it's all good, no urban legend goin' round for Phil to sing about! :)

Sandy....clink! the perfect Eluder!

Karma...Sooooo right! And change after all, is the only thing that we can count on with certainty. Time to just ride the wave! :)

Scott.... Well, if you're speeding up, I'm lost in a time warp! I have no conception of days or weeks or months at all anymore. It's as if suddenly everything was either yesterday or tomorrow! But yup, according to the calendar we're just a few days of so shy of six months! Nice to see you, by the way!

Shimmerings....Funny, that's exactly what happened.....:)

Maithri....morning, sweet friend,
And I've been
blessed
by summer
in the dark
of winter....
And feel the sunshine
calling....
And that's serendipity!

Peace~love my Friends

Mindy...Six months of dancin' lopsided:)

She...:)The only way to dance in the now! And yeah, that moment when the keys were noticed danglin' there, windchimes hangin' from the way in, and the way out.....priceless!

Ultra.....Ha! The piano is an upright, baby!

I didn't know you 6 months ago,,but I sure know how fast time travels!
I'll bet your Jagger routine was (almost)worth the broken foot,,wishing I could have seen you perform it.
I broke my foot while counting labor pains for my Jack to enter the world.I dragged that cast all over the hospital that night, and barely noticed the pain,,,until he was in the world safely,,,then it hurt like the devil unleashed!
It's been the fastest 2 year ride I've ever been on!
Time,,,,it boogies on.
(Goes without saying I love your door)

Ultra....And the piano rocks! I can't play, but I can darn sure pretend and there's barely ever a passer-by that doesn't do the same. My first freebie upright was riddled with termites and finally, afraid I would forfeight the house for the noise, I had to offer it back to nature....this baby came from an old soul...and she bangs!

Babs...Arrrrrrgghhhhh! I'm smiling though! When we were expecting Haley, (although we didn't know she was Haley!) we got a frantic five o clock in the morning call that we were in labor and her daddy flew out of the waterbed, snatching the phone and breaking his foot! I still have the X-rays.....:) It was the greatest broken foot ever!

Peace~love my friends

On the road again,,,to look after Jack for a few days.

File this under: "Strange and weird twists and turns" with music from The Twilight Zone in the background.
